Ailments or injuries of the foot and leg are among the most common medical problems today. They can be caused by industrial, sports and other accidents; by normal "wear and tear" and by ill-fitting shoes. Some problems are hereditary, and others are a consequence of aging. The scope of our practice includes the treatment of the following ailments: bone and joint disorders including bunions, hammertoes, bone spurs, foot and ankle arthritis, and painful conditions of muscles and tendons; injuries to the foot, ankle and related structures of the leg, ranging from strains and sprains to broken bones and infections; skin and nail disorders including ingrown nails, thickened nails, skin ulcers, corns, callouses, warts, skin rashes and other dermatologic conditions; infant and childhood disorders such as intoeing, outtoeing, flatfeet, hell pain (Sever's Disease), shin splints, Osgood-Schlatter's Disease and "growing pains". Our goal in treatment is not only to relieve pain and restore function to get you back on your feet, but to help prevent future ailments or injuries through patient education. We will help you understand the cause of your ailment or injury so that once your condition has resolved through treatment, you will know how to help prevent the occurrence of future problems. Dr. Sidlow and his staff are dedicated to providing the best possible care for all of our patients, young and old. Everyone in this practice operates as a team member. All have been trained as professionals and take pride in their professional capability. Office locations:
